A Touch of Floral in a Corporate World

This is me. I am a little embarrassed but what is a girl supposed to do. I needed a subject for this post and my husband was willing and able with the camera.

I am like any woman I love to shop and I believe I have a great sense of style (it may not be to everyones taste but I believe it works for me) . I love putting outfits together. I am obsessed with accessories (dah thats what got me into jewelry design).

Living in New York makes you step up your fashion game. When I lived in Sydney it was all about flip flops and cut off shorts. This city is full of power women and celebrities and gorgeous models so yes throwing something on without much thought is not going to cut it. You need to plan those outfits. If that means waking up 30 minutes earlier than so be it.

So what am I wearing?

Well this is part of my collection that I am selling on my Etsy vintage store. So if you like what you see you are in luck because yay you can OWN it.
Here is the link: Vintage Store

Lets start with the accessories.
Vintage Gold link chain. Large heavy brass chain gives and air of prestige.

Gorgeous Baby pink bag by one of my favorite  brands Coach. They always do well with their classic looks and this bag is no exception. A classic handbag in a fab color. Love.

The Blazer: Escada Floral Black Blazer.
Simple Cut. Gorgeous black blazer with floral detail.
I love the floral design around the lapel. Its ESCADA need i say more.

White Vintage Blouse: This blouse has become one of my favorites so no sadly i am not offering it for sale on my etsy store. It is high necked with a pleat in the front. I love it. I think it is very 80's in style. It did have shoulder pads which i removed as i feel my shoulders are wide enough (thanks mum all those swimming squads you enrolled me in).

The pants: Leather pants. I have never owned a pair of leather pants before I came to New York. It was not that I didn't like them, no quite the contrary. The Australian climate doesn't really warrant owning a pair of leather pants. In New York they feel  more of a necessity. What other material blocks the harsh sting of the winter wind. I am thrilled to say that leather pants are now a staple in my wardrobe.
